Summary of the article ‘How and for Whom? Mediation and Moderation in Health Psychology’ by MacKinnon & Luecken (2008). This is reading material for week 2 of the course Research Methods and Data Analysis in Communication and Health at WUR, which is one of the compulsory courses in period 2 of the master MHS. I added extra figures to better visualize all the types of variables that are discussed.

This essay will aim at understanding the feminist arguments and disagreements on the various places, channels, agencies as well as forms of gender power. It will be based on feminist theories such as those of MacKinnon, Pateman and Moller-Okin, and will analyse how they relate to different conceptualizations of power, using Dahl, Lukes and Foucaults' approaches.
