Criminal justice process (Preview) once an arrest is made, the suspect is taken to the police station; booking: basic suspect data (name, address, birth date), photographed (“mug shot”), fingerprinted, inventory of personal items, and allowed a phone call. These are in-depth class notes that are key in learning the basics of the criminal justice process.
