Resource – the word resources has been variably defined but the meaning is common to all this i.e. Tilman (1982) defined resources as all things consumed by an organism e.g. phosphates, nitrates, light etc are resources of plants. Nectar, pollen and holes (in a log of wood) are considered resources of a bee. Land, water, minerals these would be resources for man.
