The following three substances - phenyl benzoate, acetylsalicylic acid, and benzoic acid all have the same white colour and have been placed in a bottle. The bottles are then mixed up. Using Thin Layer Chromatography as a method as well as the properties of these substances, one can now determine which substance is found in which bottle. This lab report (obtained 94%) contains answers to the questions given and gives a discussion and conclusion on the above experiment - a guide for a student.

This lab report is based on Electrochemistry and is used to determine the relationship between the cell potential/voltage of a galvanic cell (V) over a certain temperature interval and also to determine other thermodynamic properties. It is a sample report (achieved 92%) that can be used to guide a student while carrying out this experiment.
